Description: The Eden II Diagnostic and Outreach Center Six-Week Intensive Summer camp is a specialized summer camp program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The camp is designed for children ages 6-9 who who are in mainstream educational settings. The purpose of the summer camp is to provide assessment services and individualized programming to address the academic and behavioral challenges that many young children with autism face in the mainstream education setting while at the same time providing a fun and safe summer camp experience. The camp is staffed by certified special education teachers who have significant training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and significant experience providing educational programming to students with ASD.

Eligibility: Children must have an ASD diagnosis and be in the 6-9 age range to be considered for the Six-Week Intensive Summer Camp Program. The Diagnostic and Outreach Center will request additional documents from parents, and may schedule a face to face appointment with the child during the application process to determine if a child is appropriate for the camp.

The Diagnostic and Outreach Center will begin reviewing applications on April 14, 2014 and will contact families for additional information or to schedule a face to face appointment with the child as needed.
